"It's not who we were in our addictive behaviors, but what we do now that defines us."

The Dark Knight Sobriety is a How Was Your Week? LifeRing meeting where we focus on the battles we fought this past week—and the strategies we're taking into the next. Like Bruce Wayne rising from the pit, we acknowledge that recovery requires falling, struggling, and choosing to climb again.

This meeting follows LifeRing's 3-S philosophy: Sobriety, Secularity, and Self-Empowerment. We keep a forward focus—there's a reason the windshield is bigger than the rearview mirror. We share our wins, challenges, and tools that are working (or not working) right now.

Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves up.

Even Batman had Alfred, Superman, and the Justice League. Recovery isn't a solo mission—we're stronger together. Positive, supportive cross-talk is encouraged. Speak from your own experience, avoid "you should" advice, and help each other build up the strong, sober self.

All adults recovering from any substance or behavioral addiction are welcome. Newcomers are especially encouraged—this is a great place to learn about the LifeRing approach and design your own recovery plan.

"The night is darkest just before the dawn. And I promise you, the dawn is coming."
