Meetings can typically be joined a few minutes before they're scheduled to begin.
This meeting explores poetry as a recovery tool. Participants must have cam on for most of the meeting, even during writing periods (unless they are eating, driving, or smoking/vaping), and are given two to three 7-minute time periods in silence where we can type or write poems that are based on a prompt provided by either the convener or other participants.
Participation is not required, and feedback/ positive cross-talk is encouraged after members share their work! Raise hands to share, can unmute if no one is speaking after a poem share, to share what the poem means to them. We have found poetry to be a great tool for processing emotions and for sharing or 'check-in' in a unique, fun, and creative way!
