This meeting focuses on the needs of people who have a recovering person in their lives. The weekly LifeRing Friends & Family meeting is built on the LifeRing “How Was Your Week?” check-in format and follows the principles of all LifeRing meetings: We welcome people who are looking for a safe, nonjudgmental space to express themselves and explore their support objectives. We treat everyone with respect, and everything shared is confidential. This meeting is centered on family and friends who care about someone in substance use recovery. ****LifeRing Secular Recovery follows a 3-S philosophy: Sobriety, Secularity, and Self-Empowerment. We invite participants to strengthen their Sober Selves to quiet the narrative of the Addicted Self. LifeRing offers a safe, nonjudgmental space to express yourself and explore your support objectives. We treat everyone with respect, and everything shared is confidential.
